This a new hotel just opened in 2009 and is located near the city center and a tesco is also nearby.
The rooms are modern and bed is excellent, no noise from outside with a view of the river
All the amenities were excellent, great shower and airco is available in the room,
The location is a little bit outside the city center but not a problem.
There is a breakfast buffet in the weekend but not on weekdays,
You can choose between 3 different options during weekdays.
This was a great hotel i stayed and i reccomend this
great rooms, modern interior,
The staff speaks english and are very friendly
wow!!! if you are an adventurer... try this one :) but maybe just for one - two nights ;) so.. the place looks the same as it did 20 years ago. You can feel COMMUNISM in the air :) It's clean, and pretty central ( really close to main train station but rather far from Old Squere - 15 minutes walk) which are pluses. The minus is that it costs as much as Park Hotel or Ratuszowy Hotel which are really nice normal hotels ;)
when it comes to stuff working there.. old guys. one of them is ex ballet dancer :) they fit perfectly the place ;) I dont think any of them speak English ;) but they are really happy to see new guests.
so as I said.. if you are adventurer .. :)
the price is pretty high, but it fits the standard. they have really nice suits which are much better than let's say.. rooms in City hotel, and the price is still lower than there :) very central. classic interiors.
its not that close to the centre but if you dont mind walking a bit (or taking the tram) or you have some extra money for taxi.. then it's a nice place to stay. nice atmosphere, nice interior. and nice price !!!
trams no 1 or 2
'Pod Orlem' ('Under The Eagle'), built in 1896
80 - 170 EURO per night
The one and only hotel in Bydgoszcz, wherein I would like to put up. Other hotels in the city are expensive and .. you know .. post-communistic (except 'City Hotel').
