If you are reading this far down on the list of accomodations in Krakow, you are desperate for Old Town lodging and are unhappy with the high price of Old Town hotels.
Janexim is a mixed bag. We rented two apartments in the same building at 3 Ul. Pijarska. Apartment number 3, one flight up, was 240 zl for 2 adults and 2 children with breakfast. A bargain for a huge apartment. Not bad, too. Enormous, attractive living room with a creaky double bed, new stylish bathroom, second bedroom with an ill-equipped kitchen: mini-fridge and stove lined up on one wall, and a third room with a sofa and odd green ceiling light which made the room unusable.
The other apartment , on the ground floor, was big, but too dirty and smelly, as happens sometimes on the ground floor, to be acceptable.
So there you have it. If you need an excellent location, are not too picky, and need plenty of space, then apartment 3 is ok. No on-site help, their office is open 24 hours but located a 10 minute walk away. Room was not ready when they said it would be, and breakfast (a maid runs out to the store for a few rolls/ pastries) is of limited value.
Unique Quality: Superb location, very quiet, yet a short stroll from the action. Other apartments may have different location, though..
