What a great deal !!!
After a short business trip to Cracow I missed the last train to Warsaw and decided to stay close to the railway station for just a couple of hours. I picked the closest one. Due to the price (approx. 15€) I expected the worst and was more than positively surprised. I received a room of approx. 20 sqm with a separate bathroom. The room was not only spacious but also very clean. The night clerk was very friendly and helpful (personal wake-up-service). An absolute MUST for budget travelers.
IMPORTANT: After owner change... refurbished in 2010 and re-named. Now the hostel is known as APARTHOTEL STATION

Krakow's hidden Goldmine
Well, at the time of writing, we're still staying here :) It a pretty good place, right next to the bus/train station, 2 minutes from the largest shopping center in Krakow, and 10 minutes from the Old Town. Prices are cheap, the atmosphere is great, and the beds are comfy - though the hot water runs out on occasion.
Unique Quality: You can sit in the reception area and watch DVD's of your choice, if that's what you want :p Otherwise, it's pretty standard - but they don't sell alcohol.
