In Heart of Zakopane

Great stay in summer 07. Would recomment this highly. We agree with the other comments about friendly staff and helpfulness.

Unique Quality: The restaurant and terrace were the best in town. Even the included breakfast was great - surprisingly including individually prepared olmelets. We loved the atmosphere of a wooden log structure.

Great Hotel

Loved Hotel Sabala. The staff went out of their way to help us find an English guide for the afternoon so we could appreciate some of the Zakopane architecture to the fullest. Rooms were clean, great architecture and terrific location. In the heart of everything. Would go there again.

Tradition Highland Hotel

Built in the traditional Highland wooden style, this hotel is on the main pedestrianized street. The hotel was built in 1894 but has been continuously modernised since then, particularly since the downfall of the communist government. It was the first hotel in the town to have electicity. The large glass front on the ground floor is the restaurant. We stayed here for a week, and varied where we ate each night - we ate here a couple of times.
I will go back to my accounts over the next couple of days and let you know how much we paid in June 2004.
