I am very happy that we found an oldtown appartment. Staying in Old town, going to central square (Rynek) in 2-3 minutes were great. Studio Italy was very comfortable for 2 person. (But don't stay as a 4 persons like us!) Very clean, you can find everything in the kitchen. Nice bathroom and washing machine!
I didn't like one thing that you have to go to Rynek for "check-in" first...
It was 50 euros for 2 person a night.
Unique Quality: Great localization
We decided to stay in an apartment as a cheaper alternative to a couple of hotel rooms and were really pleased with our choice. Our apartment was more than big enough, spotlessly clean and very well equiped with everything that you could possibly need even for a long stay.
We decided to pay the extra to be met at the airport and taken to where we were staying by taxi. We were dropped off and met by a charming lady who showed us to our apartment. A cheaper alternative is the 175 bus which stops right outside either for the Royal Route Residence or for the Old Town Square.
Unique Quality: The location was ideal for most parts of the city and you could probably do most of it on foot from here. The apartment was on the junction of Nowy Swiat and Chmielna Street and the old town was a pleasant 10 - 15 minute walk away. There were more than enough shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
We stayed in apartment 6 which had a great view of the main street ( Nowy Swiat ) but was a little noisy as a result. If you are a light sleeper then go for one which looks over the courtyard. We would definitely consider staying there again or they also have places in Krakow, Prague, Berlin, Madrid & Barcelona.
Directions: Nowy Swiat on The Royal Route just a walk away from The Old Town Square.
If you want to stay in a central location, this is it. We bumped into a couple in the Old Town area bemoaning the fact that the well known hotel chain they stayed at was so far from the main tourist area.
The apartment had everything, microwave, washing machine, dvd plaver, cd player, iron, etc. You name it, it was there.
Unique Quality: Waking up when you wanted to, heading to the nearest deli for the croissant. After breakfast check out the artists in the square on the way to your route for the day, most of the best restaurants withn 5 mins of your apartment.
The fact that a hotel stay would require a lot of taxi journeys to get to and from what was on our door step.
Directions: Just off the Old Town Square.
More pictures of the great
apartment that we had ....
These are pictures that we took out
our window that overlooked the square
in Old Town ....
Directions: Right on the square
These are great apartments for those who
can enjoy freedom, cheaper than a hotel ....
Unique Quality: .
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment
right on the square in Old Town with
our room overlooking the square from
the second floor.
Everything we needed was there ....
Livingroom, bedroom, full kitchen with
all you need from pots and pans to the
dishes, silverware, a nice toaster, coffee
maker, and even a dish washer.
The living room had a nice table and chairs also with
a TV and stereo system.
Modern bathroom that also has a washing machine,
and there is plenty of closet and storage space.
Directions: Right on the square
I didn't stay here, but based on what I've researched and the recommendations of other VTres, this would be an ideal place to stay if you're not traveling alone. You can put up to 4 people in an apartment for only 240 zl/night (under $20 per person) and you'll have great views over the Old Town Square, a bathroom and a kitchen.
I have never stayed in an apartment aboard before and Old Town Apartments made the trip very easy and i didnt have to worry about any thing
warsaw is a beautifull city the people are very friendly and the old town looks like a watercolour painting (with plenty of resturants and bars)
Unique Quality: as for the apartment it was great! sauna, jacussi, a bed which folds out of a wardrobe (james bond lived there in a previous life). All for just over £20/person/night i didnt believe it myself untill i was there. a hotel with these feactures would have cost a lot more.
The taxi pick up from the air port made life easier as they were waiting for us on arrival and took us straight to the old town rep
all in all a great city and great accomodation if you have any quieres just drop me and email or notice.

I rented an apartment on Piekarska. It was well equipped and clean. Facilities included a well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge and all necessary utensils and cutlery. Lounge had a sofa-bed, armchair and large cable TV. Separate bedroom had double bed and wardrobe. Bathroom had recently been re-furbished to a very high standard.
Apartment was only a minutes walk from the main square.
Service from Old Town Apartments was first-class. Nothing was a problem. They even arranged for a Taxi from the airport as I was not arriving until 11pm.
Directions: Old Town
....for people who don`t wanna stay in a hostel and want something more special and a bit cooler- you can actually rent an apartament in the Old Town! As you know I live in Warsaw, so I have never checked it out by myself, but I find it great and magical to actually sleep in the Old Town! Check it out! You will be more comfy than in a youth hostel and the view from your window will be unforgettable!
Our apartment was on this street. We could walk to the left for a little market...or continue further in to reach the Old Town Square. Ideal location.
I loved the buildings and the cobblestone streets. Imagine. It isn't really as old as it looks. It's been rebuilt. Again....I am in awe of the Polish spirit.

We have lived at Warsaw Apartments in Sadyba some years ago. You can take a bus from the corner Ul Marszalkowska/Al Jerozelimskie (don't remember the number), but maybe you have a car...
You can find Sadyba on a map, we lived at Ul Augustowka about 15-20 minutes walk from Sadyba centre - Sadyba Best Mall for example.
