The street where we lived...

Our apartment was on this street. We could walk to the left for a little market...or continue further in to reach the Old Town Square. Ideal location.
I loved the buildings and the cobblestone streets. Imagine. It isn't really as old as it looks. It's been rebuilt. Again....I am in awe of the Polish spirit.

Old Town Apartments - Warsaw...

Old Town Apartments - Warsaw or Krakow There is a link to this company on our Virtual Tourist site. Look for them at the top of the page.

Unique Quality: We had an apartment with 2 bedrooms (there were 3 of us), fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, living room..3rd floor walk up. Short walk to markets, and the square. Clean, safe & comfortable.. ideal when you need a break from restaurants, etc. When sharing these apartments, they can be quite economical at $550 per wk. Other apartments and prices will vary.
It was wonderful to go down the block to the little grocery store where we could buy some basic staples....coffee, bread, cheese and the like.
Looking out the living room window at the muted shades of stucco on the houses across the way or the church steeple in the distance was a striking view. We could also look down to the cobblestone lane below us to watch busy residents and tourists coming and going.
Out the kitchen window, you saw a bit of simple daily life with someone sweeping the sidewalk or neighbors chatting on the sidewalk. I love to watch such simple things.

We have lived at Warsaw Apartments in Sadyba some years ago. You can take a bus from the corner Ul Marszalkowska/Al Jerozelimskie (don't remember the number), but maybe you have a car...
You can find Sadyba on a map, we lived at Ul Augustowka about 15-20 minutes walk from Sadyba centre - Sadyba Best Mall for example.

Good luck!
