Cheap & Good

We stayed 7 nites on 4th Flr. (Not noisy with window closed) Beds were comfortable with ensuite bathroom incl. toilet, sink & small shower area. Small closet with hangers small desk & 2 chairs. WIFI access in room tho' connection speed is a bit slow sometimes. We requested for extra hangers & extra pillow. Reception staff helpfull with directions & bus/tram routes and also making reservations for dinner & calling taxi. Housekeeping sometimes skip vacuuming the floor altho they made up the beds & change the towels. Advisible to bring your own disposable slippers unless you don't mind walking around barefooted in the room. We opt out of hotel breakfast. Easily can buy kebabs, hotdogs and bread/sausages from Deli & kiosks behind the hotel along Al. Jerozolimskie road. These kioks opens from 6.30am on weekdays. There is even a morning bazaar on weekdays from 6.30am to 8.00am most mornings at the said roadside pavement offering snacks, clothes, yoghurt, trinkets, shoes, flowers, vegetables, towels, socks, etc.

Unique Quality: Best thing about this hotel is the price & location. From airport take Bus 175 directly to hotel. Alight at Pl.Zawiszy bus stop (just next to Hotel Jan Sobieski). To go to Old Town take Tram No.32 alight when you see the tunnel (7 stops). Then take the escalator up & you will be right in front of the Royal Palace Square (Pl.Zamkowy). It is about 20mins slow walk (or 2 tram stops away) to City Centre where the big shopping centers like Zlote T. is located. If you are attending exhibition at EXPO take bus 159 from Towarowa Rd. alight when you see a brown church on your left and an overhead expressway. Cross the road toward the church and Expo Centre is just 7mins walk away. Most places of interest within Warsaw easily accessible by bus/trams from hotel.

Great Budget Hotel

Family of 7 arrived in Warsaw at 01:00 to find the SSM(Youth Hostel) closed for the night. Found this buget hotel in the centre of Warsaw and took 2 x 3 bedded rooms for the night.

Total cost was just a little more than the cost of the Hostel!

Unique Quality: The best feature about these rooms for us was the 3 beds. As a large family, we would have needed 4 rooms in another hotel.

Also the cost was about $110 for TWO clean, modern and comfortable rooms!

Premiere Classe

On my first trip to Warsaw in December 2004, I stayed in a just newly opened French chain hotel called "Premiere Classe".

All rooms are basic, clean and equipped with a private bathroom and TV-Sat. A buffet style breakfast was included in the price of 25 Euro per night for a single room, which was actually a double room.

I booked the hotel through Hotel Poland, as they offered the best price for the place.
