Thank You, Magnolie :)
We stayed in Apartments Magnolie for 3 days. Hotel stands in a perfect place - very easy to reach center with a buss and the stop of buss is just right by hotel. To reach hotel with taxi from buss station at night was also easy and took 25-30 zlots. Not so much :) Hotel stands in a calm place :) The room was perfect - king size bed, kitchen, big hall, free internet, allowed to smoke, warm and clean :) Personnel was also really great - made everything what we asked and we even shared our dinner with them ! If i will go next time to Warsaw i will take this hotel for sure!
Unique Quality: Hotel belongs to www.booking.com so it was easy to order the room on internet without any problems :)

Bus travels overnight, leaving Warsaw at 1945 and arriving in Kaunas at 0520. Bus info here (not in English):

I'd take the train, personally.

Look at www.litrail.lt. Click on "Passenger transportation", click on "International routes". At Departure Station scroll down to "Warszawa centr" and enter. Then at Arrival Station find "Vilnius"(at the top of list)and click on "search". Then click on either train number (2 trains per day) and you will see the route the train takes and the time it stops in Kaunas. It also gives the price and most of the text is in English. Price is in LTL.

Memories of the MTAS
by Pavlik_NL
Most of the time that I was in Warszawa, I was in the stand of Fruitconsult on the fruit organising trade fair MTAS. This was - because of the enthusiasm of both stand crew (translators Gosja and Alicja) and visitors - a very wonderful experience.
check out Stare Miasto (Old Town)
by katmag
check out Stare Miasto (Old Town) obviously! My favourite part is the city walls and the intricate little details they hide. Warsaw was completely destroyed by bombs during WWII, and so it all had to be rebuilt, including this entire area. My fondest memory of warsaw was these two sunny days during which it was warm and sunny. The remaining 3 months of my trip was spent in south western poland (Slask) where it rained non-stop, everyday, until our departure.
Christmas and Warsaw
by ZiOOlek
Like most cities around the world, also Warsaw is full of Christmas lights, starting from December till the end of January - more or less.;)
The best places to fill the atmosphere of Christmas in Warsaw is the city centre - Aleje Jerozolimskie street with a view on Palace of the Culture and Science and than you may go to the Rolay Way (Nowy Swiat) and going up to the old town. There are two big Christmas trees there - one in front of the Royal Castle and the second on the market squere in the old town.
The Royal Castle
by Cool-123
It is situated in the Castle Square. The most important parts of the interiors are the king's agartments on the 1st floor, which are visited by guided tour, in Polish. A guide in English, German or French will cost an extra $14 per group. Other exhibits require separate tickets. Sunday is a free-entry day for all the exhibitions (no guide service).
The party continues :-)
