The City of Opole.
"Arriving in Opole."
My main method of arriving in Opole is by train. Twice I have been to Opole by train from Krakow which takes about 3 hours, but recently I found that I can get to Opole from Wroclaw.
I have been to Poland a few times now and even on my first visit to Opole I had been to other Polish cities so I knew what to expect. The railway station in Opole is quite a grand old building, so it's nice to see as you arrive.
The main shopping street is just across the road from the station and their are taxi's waiting to take you to any destination.
"The people of Opole"
There are about 130'000 people living in the city. In terms of people, I feel that Opole is quite a young city. There seems to be alot of young people moving around the city and that's not surprising because of the various education establishments that are located there. I'm told when the universities close, the city is very quiet.
