I have never stay there, but I pass there every day. The House is 2 minutes walk from the most famous street in Gdansk - Dluga Street, situated in the Old Town. The price level is resonable and in my opinion it is worth of trying.

Two things about this hotel were particularly convenient for me: location very close to Gdansk Old Town, and free internet access in my room. The room was clean and the en suite shower room was newly fitted and very good. TV showed several English language channels including CNN and BBC. Staff were helpful although most had very little English. Staff assured me that my laptop would be safe in my room (and it was) but I would have liked lockable storage for valuables. I also would have liked tea/coffe making facilities in the room - free bottles of mineral water were provided but this is not a substitute for a cup of tea or coffee! But that is only a small complaint and I would have no hesitiation in recommending this hotel, especially to lone business travellers who wish to use their laptop.
