Hotel Abak

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on August 13, 2006

Hotel Abak is an absolutely amazing value for your money. For just 90 Zl per night per person, our group of 13 travelers got clean rooms, each with a tv and phone, and most with sparkling clean and spacious en suite bathrooms. A very good and hearty breakfast buffet is included, as is internet service and even free laundry (and not just free use of a washing machine - they actually wash your clothes for you).

Although Abak is not centrally located, it is very close to a bus stop with easy and quick service to Gdansk's old city. There are also two supermarkets within a couple minutes' walk. The only negatives I can think of are that it can be a bit loud at times and that the pillows weren't the best I've ever had, but these were fairly minor problems. Overall we all had a great experiene there and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gdansk on a budget.
