I Dust My Broom
by coceng
I was walking along the beach & then walking in this small forest. So, you could imagine I was all dusty & jaded.
I dusted the sands off my pants & shoes on the train. People were looking as I dirtied the train ! Some men made a comment about my doing, I said, "Nie rozumiem".
What was I supposed to say ? Look for a broom & dust my sands off the train !
My (wrong) doing took its toll ! The story on my Gdansk page.
Anyway, it's my fondest memory in Gdynia !

...you a few things ;) you'll certainly think I am the least sincere person inthe World! So, if you happen to have read my Gdansk page, you certainly think I live there... and, well, to be more exact I live in the city of Gdynia ;) the thing is that Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia are practically one agglomeration, which we - Poles - call "Trojmiasto" ("Tri-City" or something like that). Anyway, the fact is that I live in Gdynia, or rather - my parents live here, for me most of the time I am staying in Warsaw (University, hehe). So... let us start!
Gdynia is a modern city, completely unlike the 650-years-old Gdansk. Therefore you won't find here old buildings, Gothic churches and other stuffs characteristic for most of the Polish cities. It's nice though, with its straight streets in the center, the "Skwer Kosciuszki" - a wide street leading to the yacht port, the picturesque green hills and the relatively civilised beach and boulevard...
What more should I tell you? I guess I should rather put some pictures to convince you to come here, but as temporarily I don't have a scanner you can either wait or just come blind (staying at my place is still actual, and in the picture you can see my Dad sitting on the couch... parents not always are monsters, believe me ;)).
