SMALL, WITH HOME-LIKE ATMOSPHERE
It is a small hotel but very accomodating, always prepared to meet your needs. They were very helpful when I, Pawtuxet and her family stayed there back in 2001 shortly after the 9/11 tragedy. They offered Janet and her daughter free internet access at the reception so that they could check the news from their relatives.
The hotel's small restaurant serves good Polish and European cuisine. I think I liked everything, can't remember anything disappointing. On a cold day you can have a drink at the bar to keep you warm, they have a nice selection :-)
The hotel is off the town's centre (about 3.5km/2m from the sanctuary). OK, you have to drive to the shrine but this is an excellent location for another reason: this is where the Eagles' Nests Trail begins into the Jurassic Park (no dinosaurs though! ;-). The park is a picturesque region with nice climbing rocks and old/ruined castles.
Double room is at 150 zl ($38), breakfast included. If you'd like a suite, it's only 250 zl ($63).
Unique Quality: The hotel has a bike rental service as well as a stable - you can choose biking or horse riding to see the area.

HOTEL SCOUT is just outside...
HOTEL SCOUT is just outside Czestochowa. Small hotel with a surprisingly good restaurant. Clean and comfortable. Hotel is popular for its connection to horse trails, biking, mountain climbing and fishing.. and you can visit The Black Madonna which is only 10 minutes away. We found the manager to be very kind and accomodating.
