Jasna Gora, Czestochowa by Pawtuxet
This is a post card I chose to keep...she's beautiful, isn't she? She is the Black Madonna, a painting which is housed at Czestochowa...said to be miraculous. Thousands of pilgrims come annually to see the painting and seek the miracle of health or some other resolution. Of course we are not allowed to take photographs of the original painting. It is closely protected.
