Olsztyn Castle

These are the photos that I took around Olsztyn Castle...I went there as an excursion from Czestochowa.
No tourists in sight, just amazing solitude around the area of the castle.
Another amazing view from me !
On another hill nearby, another ruins can be seen clearly...I didn't have the chance to go there...Had to go down the hill I was on & climb up another hill. Too 'bush' for me !
Maybe next time...
If you climb the tower at Olsztyn Castle you can obtain some good photographs of the town. On the day I visited one of the members of staff had to open up the tower to allow us up and then waited for us to look around. You felt pressured to hurry up so he could lock it up again, or not in my case as I snapped away and was last to leave

There are 2 places by the name of 'Olsztyn' in Poland. One is in the north-east of Poland & another one is a small town about 11 km from Czestochowa; but the small town Olsztyn is not listed by VT.
So, you are at my page here by the name of the region, of the Olsztyn in the north-east of Poland.I have never been there..but I want a name to call my page.
You can reach the small town Olsztyn by the city bus from Czestochowa.
