"My first visit to Poland and Kolobrzeg"
I was here for a whole day and a very hot and sunny July day in 1994.
After living in Russia for 5 years it was interesting to see other
Eastern European countries, and I remember the days of the
Solidarity movement and I knew lots of Poles living in Stockholm.
I spent almost 6 weeks travelling round northern Poland and staying mostly in Youth Hostels.
We met hardly any other Westerners and
found the Polish people very hospitable and kind.
