what are the laws with children under the age of 2 year travelling in cars and how do you go if your a tourist ?
Children can only be transported in special seats suitable for their weight. If a car has airbags for passengers, the child must not be seated with his back to the driver. The car must be equipped with seat belts for all the passengers.

In the UK, pedestrian signs are treated, at best, as an advisory rather than an order. Not so in Szczecin. I was particularly struck by the way people waited patiently (often for long periods) for the "green man" to show, even if there wasn't a vehicle to be seen. I have no idea if this means the Poles are inherently more law-abiding than Britons or whether the local police (who are much in evidence) take a dim view. I'm a firm believer in "when in Rome......." and I wouldn't advise jay-walking here.
The Sea Festival - Dni Morza consists of gala of sailing vessels, many concerst, the display of fire works. This year there was also a ferris wheel and other attractions of the theme park.
It is organised in the second weekend ( from Friday till Sunday) of each June annually.
The younger generation in Poland knows English quite well because this language is taught in schools. Some know German , French or Russian - especially thye older generation. In Szczecin some people also attend other courses of foreign languages like Norwegian, Swedish, Italian, Spanish.
But on the other hand in my opinion it's good to know a language of the country in which somebody plans to spend a longer period of time - for instance foreign students studying in Szczecin or other Polish cities.. When somebody plans to make a few days visit in foreign country it also would be useful to carry a mini version of a dictionary in one's bag.
There are many places in Szczecin that are known only to the locals.
There is several view points where local people go to look at area (Szczecin is pretty flat so any hill is a thrill for locals).
There are few small lakes where people like to go after Sunday dinner for a walk.
Here are some pictures taken during trips like that.
