The centre for Cultural and Tourist Information is located in the mint wing of the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle. It is the only centre open throughout the week. Duty hours are: 10:00-18:00. the centre offers tourist information, accommodation reservations, guided tours reservations, tickets to the Castle, tickets for concerts and rehearsals, international trips. You can meet patrols of police in Szczecin. It meens that city cares about safety of inhabitans and guests of the city.
The city is mostly safe. And maybe police is one of the factors that helped to attain it.

Dni Morza - Sea Festival in Szczecin

The Sea Festival - Dni Morza consists of gala of sailing vessels, many concerst, the display of fire works, the theme park. The inhabitants and visitors have an opportunity to visit Lasztownia island , which has a great vies at Waly Chrobrego at the other side of Odra river.
Sea Festival is organised in the second weekend ( from Friday till Sunday) of each June annually.

Fountain

A fountain stood between the city hall and the post office. Designed by professor Manzl, it was boat shaped with Sedina holding the sail. At the end of WWII the Fountain was dismantled. In its place today is a large anchor.
