MY HOTEL IN1991.
My first trip to Algarve took me to the Albufeira jardim 1 hotel , on a hill above the resort. A large complex with a good size roof top pool.

long term accom - not holiday apt
Hi! My boyfriend and I are looking for a room or cheap small apartment (studio, 1 bed) in Albufeira to live in for at least a few months - he may possibly stay on longer.
Can anyone suggest some websites or direct us where to find something on the cheaper side (ie 300-400 euros per month... or even less)?
All my web searches consistantly produce holiday villas and apt which are way too expensive.
We prefer not to live in a hotel as we would like use of a kitchen.
Do locals or expats ever rent out rooms in their homes?
How would a local person find their rental or let?
Our Portuguese is fairly ***e... so the newspapers aren't much use to us.
We could be interested in living in Quarteria or nearby as we hear this is cheaper - but then we have transport to contend with. My boyfriend doesn't finish work in Albuferia until about 11pm.

Hi my husband and I just purchased an apartment. We are coming over on 25th Sept until 2nd Oct. and would be available for a few month after that. It is in Albufeira Jardim in the old town and is a nice studio apartment. it sleeps 2 at the moment but we hope to buy a sofa bed when we come over. You can let me know if you are interested and how long you would need it for.
