hi travelling from lagos to albufeira and noticed there two bus stations does the lagos bus stop at the station in the old town? thank you

Just to confirm that the Lagos bus only goes to the Albufeira bus station, which is a mile/1.7km from the old town centre.
Local buses are available every 30 minutes for that little journey, at extra cost.
Or you can walk, it is all downhill.
The Misericordia Chapel is to be found nearby to the Clock Tower, along the rua Henrique Calado, which leads past the Hospital and to the site of the North Gate.
Formally an Arab mosque, it was restored in 1499 and named the "Capela da Misericordia". Severely affected by the 1755 earthquake, the chapel and doorway were restored to their former Gothic style.
There are just so many restaurants to chose from in Albufeira. You can't possibly eat at all of them in a week, or even three, LOL! so, wherever you eat, it'll be because of the type of food that you are interested in. The Venezia Restaurante is just one of many in The Strip, where you will be lost for choice. We decided on fillet steak and trimmings, followed by Banana Splits (huge!!), and a small lager and Coke. All this cost us 31 Euros. The steak was excellent, and the service was very good too, although we got there rather late, and I think they were reaching closing time.
One of my best friends moved to Boliquieme in January 2004, so me and two other friends went to stay with her in March 2004 for the first time. That was the beginning of a chain of holidays in Boliquieme and Albufeira!!
We love it in the Algarve and dont want to go anywhere else for holidays!
Since March we have been 3 times!
