Hi. Me and my friend are going to Albufeira on the 2nd of september 2008 and would liek some advice. Ive just recently come back from albufeira in may and it wasnt overly busy will it be busy in september or will it be quiet?
Also wen me and my friend were over there hardly any of the girls wore anything! is that still the same as gota get my diet going if so! lol
If anyones going there aswell this year in september drop me a reply :)

You can be sure that till the 15th of September, Albufeira is going to be pretty crowded ;D lots of parties and still lots of people.
I usually spend my holidays there early September, but this year I´m going earlier, mid of August. Still, I do think that beginning of September is better.
If you need any more tips, let me know.

Usually short skirts, 80s sunglasses (white or red..lol). Really...don´t worry about expensive clothes, best tip is, to few or to short ;D
At night you can bring highheels, but not too high, cause you know you´re gonna drink :D

It may not be a Portuguese Local Custom, but I wonder who you might meet on holiday/vacation that you already know? Well, here are Carmen (Carmela71) and Stace (Beach_Dog), who drove several hundred miles from Marbella in Spain, just to meet up with us. We had hoped for a meeting with two or three other VTers, but for vvarious reasons they couldn't make it. Perhaps next time?

Albufeira has a fairly new marina located a little away from the center of town to the west.
It´s still in the build up fase, but i think it´s a pleasant part of town to hang out with some nice cafes and restaurants there among the boats and the travel agents.
It´s not a huge marine like in Villamoura or Lagos, but it´s a pleasant place to spend a few hours watching the boats and enjoying that special atmosphere of a marina.
I had couple of days remaining from my summer holiday and I ordered a last-minute tour to Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal. I haven't been participating in charter tours in over 8 years so it was about time.
Well... I couldn't find that many pages from Albufeira in VT, so let's fill some more infromation. The city itself has built for tourism. So, try to orientate with that in mind.
