I have booked a holiday to Albuferia for the 22nd October 2010.
I am staying in apartments near the stirp, I am just wondering what is the night life like at this time? And if anybody knows any good bars?

Things will be getting quiet that time of year, but most places should stiull be open.

I have been to the Algarve several times including towards the end of October. Some of the restaurants tend to shut down during the off season but I'm sure that you will still have enough to choose from on the strip. If not a short cheap cab ride to the old town part of Albufeira will give you more choices. Hiring a car at this time of year for trips out and about will be cheap as chips so may be an option to broaden your horizons.

Albufeira is in the Algarve region at the southern most end of Portugal. All year round sunshine and beautiful beaches are the reason people come here from all over Europe. The airport is in Faro and the resort of Albufeira is a short taxi ride away.
FaNtAsTiC! the stip in the centre of albufiera is bRiLl! I think it's about a mile long or 2 but is has loadz of bars an clubs, as well as just lookin on the strip some of the best places can be found down some of the side streets. if you are feelin a lil adventurous then take a taxi to Vilamoura theres some gr8 nite spots there 2 even tho it is a lil more expencive but the people are a lot nicer, not that everyones not nice anyway. And there is a big nite club in kinda ov the middle ov no where an some times it carries on till 6-7 am.
Vilamoura is a bit more upmarket. Luxury hotels, apartments, restaurants and shops.
There are also golf courses, tennis, water sports, horse riding, bowling and lots of night life.
The main part of Vilamoura is this huge marina as you can see on my photograph. Some beautiful luxury yachts moored here, unfortunately none were mine!
We did find parking a bit of a problem.
