Albufeira
Albufeira by night. I tried to photograph "sandeman" on the mountain, it was a draw for a surtain whine, the draw almost looked like a real guy there in the dark on that mountain, a bit scarry I must say.

I'm going to Albuferia in the summer, Can anyone suggest any places I should visit. Sites, Clubs, Bars, or Resataurants?
tequila bistro is a good start for freshly cooked food. staff don't stand in the streets harrassing you and they are really friendly when you go in, a really warm atmosphere and prices are fair. it's off the main square can't quite remember the street name or how to explain where, but there are maps and leaflets with them in. i'm going again this year cos it's wicked!
Try the "Steps" bar, located just off the west end of the old town square, up some steps to the left. It's quite small but has a good atmosphere later on.There's a great guy who will be playing live there this summer, Martin Jonathan.Plays all sorts of music, old and new, with his own take on it, great guitarist and singer.
The restaurant next door,O'Tunnel, is really nice too, run by a lovely Dutch lady, forgotten her name, reasonably priced.Try the prawn kebabs, spot on.

You can eat there many different meals.
English Breakfast, vegetarian menu, spanisch tapas or paella, special children`s menu but also a local menu like chicken piri piri and all kinds of fish.
All dishes are served with chips or boiled potatoes and salad .
And if you want anything that is not on the menu,no problem, you ask for it.
The waiters are very friendly and the price for a meal is not expensive. The grilled salmon is delicious.
Go and eat there then you now what I mean.
Albufeira was originally a small fishing village and I think fishing is still the main activity in here. The place is ideal if you are looking for Sun, Sea and sandy beaches and good restaurants. There are many English tourists coming here every summer but you will also find Germans, some Italians, Spanish and Portuguese of course!
I spent here one week and from Albufeira I also visited Lisbon on a daytrip. Albufeira, as I said, it's small but nice. There are lots of bars, clubs and a big disco, Kadoc. I think this place is fit to young people but to families too. Everyone may find something interesting to do.
