I'm going to visit Faro next week. I will arrived in Faro Airport at 11.40 pm (almost midnight). Anybody can suggest the cheapest transport that I can take to City Centre. I read from other comments saying that the bus is cheap but the service ended at 11.00 pm.
At this late hours, perhaps your best bet would be to take a cab
Airport isn't far from the city center and taxi ride to there would be cheap
They're always at the airport or you could call to arrange for one from the airport.
Last resort would be to hitch a ride hopefully from those picking up arrivals at the airport or even with hotel and airline shuttle buses.
You shouldn't have any problem at all getting on city center at any time.

For the record the buses from the airport finish at 20.07 in winter and 21.07 in summer, although I cannot confirm the latter as the local bus company has not changed its website nor the timetables at Faro.
A taxi will be about 10 Euros, more if it is at weekends.

Thank you to all.. I arrived in Faro Airport on 28 July 2010. I took a taxi to Faro Youth Hostel and cost me €11.60. Its reasonable price for one taxi and I split a bill to one of my friend. So, it cost €5.80 per person. If you travel in group of 4, taxi is a best option.
Located in the center of the Algarve in Portugal’s southernmost region, Albufeira is the seat of the county and belongs to the administrative district of Faro which is located 39 Km. away.
Totaling an area of 14,800 hectares, and with a population of approximately 40,000 residents, this county is divided into five parishes: Albufeira, Ferreiras, Guia, Olhos d'Água and Paderne.
Albufeira’s origins are unknown, but all evidence leads one to believe that the region was already inhabited during prehistoric times and the location where the city stands today was at one time, a few centuries prior to our day, an important settlement with its own harbour.
Portugal is not particulary famous for its beer. Nevertheless, pale lager beers seem to be quite popular. I gave Sagres and Superbock a try.
Sagres beer is brewed by the Central de Cervejas brewery in Vila Franca de Xira. Since 2008 the brewery is under control of a joint venture of the breweries Heinken and Carlsberg.
Superbock is the most popular beer in Portugal and also well known in other countries of the world. It is brewed by the Unicer brewery, which is located in Leca do Balio in the north of Portugal.

A wide natural park covering the whole coast around Faro, this is a paradise for lovers of natural life, but it may also be such an excellent place to bath, if you manage to get a boat to the island. Close to the mouth of the lagoon the currents may be strong, but you may find some safe spots to swim in a warm and calm water. Don't miss the fun of sea shell grabbing.
Left of the 'Praia dos Caneiros' in Lagoa, you can climb the rockscape easily and you'll find yourself in the top of the rockside, with an amazing view over the beach and surrounding areas. It's a very nice place for a late afternoon walk and picture taking.
