stayed in room 811 on 30/07/06 for 7 nights.room 811 is in one of the 4 storey blocks which were the original hotel, the rooms are very small and cramped only half size of some other 4 star hotels. There was a partial seaview however but the balcony is too small to have both a table and 2 chairs on so they do not supply a table. Breakfast is good apart from the coffee which comes out of a machine which is disgusting. The rest of the hotel is ok,well kept and clean Reception staff are not that freindly There were not enough sun beds available around the pool in august unless you were up early ALL IN ALL THE ROOM LET THE HOTEL DOWN,IWOULD SAY THE HOTEL IS A 4 STAR BUT THE ROOMS ARE ONLY 3 STAR
WHILST IN LAGOS TRY TO EAT IN TAVERNA DE LAGOS,A LOCALS RESTERAUNT NEAR TO THE HOTEL.AS GOOD A SEAFOOD AS ANYWHERE ELSE AND A LOT CHEAPER AND ANOTHER POTUGEASE RESTERAUNT OFF THE MAIN SQUARE BUT UP A HILL BACK TOWARDS THE HOTEL KNOWN AS THE BLUE DOORS.TAKE ATRIP TO THE GROTTOS AND TO THE DOLPHINS AND TRY TO GET ROUND THE NEW MARINA AREA
