...... Me and my father arrived in FARO and drove to PORTIMAO on New Years Eve in search of the monster trucks, cars and the bikes that were racing from Portimao to Malaga on stage 2 on the Dakar Rally 2005

Stage 1 was from Lisbon to Portimao

New Years Eve, ALL the vehicles were parked up, down town Portimao with the drivers working away late into the evening.

Took lots of photos, absorbed the atmosphere of this truly GREAT event!!

We then headed to Albuferia for New Years Eve! later that night and loved the place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
