Hotel Bella Vista: Great View and old time style
Unique Quality: This old Fashioned hotel has a great position on the cliff top over looking the Beach, It's Edwardian Decur is like stepping back in time into an Agather Christie Novel

jardim da vau: lovely appt
We actually sayed in Tres Castellos.....it was awful....yuch yuch yuch. We searched the area for other nice places to stay for the next time we returned. Found the "Jardim da Vau".... this is beautiful accomodation right on Pria da Vau beach. We were showed around the rooms etc, they are gorgeous and roomy and the grounds and pool area is beautiful with direct access onto the beach. This is 15 mins walk into praia da rocha centre up a little hill, past the fountains and along the cliff top or you can go along the beach if the tide is out.

mums timeshare: tres castellos
We had this place since 1989, we have a month a year split amongst the family.
The hotel has always looked after my mum and she keeps returning.
Unique Quality: Its about 40 miles from faro about 50 euros in a taxi each way. once there the beach is about 150 metres away. Its sits by a lovely fountain and borders the smaller resort of vau, so you can have the choice of resorts/beaches.
