During last summer i camed across this camping near the river. Dispite the poor road signs and lack of public ilumination i was able to get in the campground at about 23 00 pm.
It was the 1 time that i stayed in a camping ground and to be honest, i was a bit afraid of the ideia of sleeping next to so many people in my litle tend.Dispite that ... i was very surprised to notice that every thing was peacefull and quiet. At first i was not able to get some sleep but, has the time passed by i could realize that the camping security was doing there rounds. Next morning i decided off course to check the place arround.I was hungry some folks indicated me that the bar was already opend at 7 AM. The service was nice and camping personel was helpfull and dispite being in a camping the bread was hot and was like me being in a hotel.
After that... i decided to visit the local vilage in Costa Nova . But, since i entered during the night i decided to ask for some directions in the reception . Dispite the many people that were there the camping personel was able to get some free time to advice me in how to get there.
After a day visiting Costa Nova and Barra i decided to come back to the camping to get some rest. I wanted to go to bed early so i could leave early next morning.

Hemos estado en el Camping Costa Nova del 12 al 15 de agosto de 2006.
Escogimos ese camping por los comentarios de internet, las fotografías y el equipamiento que decía tener.
Al llegar al camping no encontramos con que nosotros mismos tuvimos que buscar un "hueco" en un camping abarrotado, las parcelas no están delimitadas y en solo 10 metros cuadrados pueden meter 3 tiendas tranquilamente, por lo que la comodidad y una mínima intimidad están totalmente prohibidos. Meten a demasiada gente en poco espacio y el control y la seguridad dentro del recinto son nulos, me robaron el móvil y la organización no se hizo responsable a pesar de que tenían sospechosos ya que se habían producido numerosos robos en un solo día.
El camping destaca por la suciedad y mal cuidado de sus instalaciones, los baños y duchas estaban siempre sucios y olían mal y los lavaderos de ropa y loza podían acumular toda clase de desechos (incluso tripas de pescado) sin que nadie hiciese nada.
Las instalaciones de restaurante, cafetería y sala multiusos que dicen tener están situadas en una misma y única sala, el menú era caro y formado por comida rápida y de poca calidad.
