Residencial Biera Rio: Quiet sleep overlooking the river

A cozy residencial with 24 rooms, all equipped with private bathroom, A/C and cable TV. Breakfast is included in the price

The main quality of this small hotel is the location overlooking the river bank, and right in the center of Mertola.

And also included is of course the quietness and the sympathy of the people from Alentejo

Estalagem S. Domingos: Relax and Rest with 5 Stars Comfort

This building was used as headquarters and residence for the mine administration. Nowadays, it´s converted into a 5 stars hotel with a very nice price. The superior rooms are located in the main house (only 6 rooms) along with the reception, bar, game room, library and restaurant. There is also a new building with the standard rooms, adjacent to the main one.

The Service is very good, at the local rhythm. But since you loose all your stress just by walking in the surroundings, or sitting on the terrasse, that´s not a problem. All the staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel provides bikes to tour the surronding fields, the mine and the river beach.
