No name: Feel at home on the hills
Alentejo region is known for it's «montes» (roughly hills), which are traditionally rural properties. In the coastal area around Zambujeira, you can find many that were converted into guest houses.
Originally, they were at there common state (no running water, no electricity), but some are making improvements, surely due to the ever increasing demand.
It's close to the town and to the beaches (mind that you should have a car in this area - it's very unpopullated, so there are no public transpirtation to go around).
They are very pleasant, quiet and you will end up truly meeting the local caretakers.
