Catch the suburban train from...

by Mayonie

Catch the suburban train from Sao Bento Train Station in Porto. Braga is about 2 hours by suburban train vs a 45min bus ride to/from Porto. I recommend taking the train in the morning also a slower, it's definitely worth the relaxing experience of having a closer look at the country-side, cute country houses, vineyards and all.

Igreja de St. Cruz

by ncfg

The Sta Cruz Church is a 17th century Rococo work.
This Church has a funny story;
It’s said that if you look at its façade and you find the two roosters/chickens, you will marry with someone from the town of Braga.
So what are you waiting for, enlarge the pic search for them.

If you don’t find them I will help you out. Good luck!

PS: on the pic you will find just one because the other is not on the pic.

Beautiful Braga

by gubbi1

Braga has a nice church, but in general the town is worth to pay it a visit. The mixture of cafes, shops and touristic places in a beautiful architectural scenery gives the town a special charm.

Tip: as in many portuguese cities, also here you get a free city map in the tourist office. On it all sights, worth to go, are marked by a sketch of its fasade.
