Travel Tips for Braga
I took this picture -normally, I don't add photos of friends, but I like it!- because I wanted to remember that period, as the same time Yugoslavia was bombed by USA-NATO (most of the Greeks, including me, didn't want this to be happen)...
Close to Braga, Falperra is a mountain often used to motor racing. It's a beautiful trip, ending in Santa Maria Madalena church, also called Falperra church. Without the visibility and attraction of Bom Jesus and Sameiro, this church is generally considered the third element in the sanctuaries tour in the outskirts of Braga.
Braga can be reached by anytype of transportation. 3.5 hrs from Lisbon. 1hr from Porto, and 2hrs from Pontevedra, Spain. Dom Jesus de Monte is one of the most rememerable places to visit here. The Cathederal, the view over the City of Braga, The small lake to paddle a canoe, the many flowered gardens, and the peaceful serenity found here.
