Visit Monte de Bom Jesus or simply Bom Jesussaid to be Portugal's second most important religious pilgrimage site, next to Fatima. There are stunning lifesize sculptures of Bible personalities and saints on the church altar and inside 'cabanas' along the pathway depicting the Stations of the Cross. Also has a magnificent view of the city from above.
