Love Hostels, if you can go to Frank's Hostel in Lisbon, it's awesome, great people, cheap.
In Sintra I stayed in a Pension called Adelaidas, spooky place, it really was scary, the woman was really weird, cheapest in the area!
In Peniche nice camping, near the beach.
San Martinho de Porto youth hostel, good place to stay on your route, no tmuch to see on that town but, friendly atmosphere and cheap.
