It has one of the best hotel restaurants i have eaten in for a hotel of that category and they have an even better wine selection.
The only problem with the hotel is that the location sucks to the bone unless you are driving through Portugal and just need to stay for a night with no intention of visiting Coimbra.
It's situated on the wrong side of a motorway junction which makes it very hard for guests to walk in to town without having to run over a busy freeway and there is no public transportation from the hotel to town.
I guess it's ok if you have your own car and knows how to find a parking spot in Coimbra though.
