One of the finest hotels in Portugal. With it's serene gardens, to the expansive and finely decorated rooms, the Hotel Quinta das Lagrimas is a first class hotel. The history of the hotel alone makes the stay a romantic one. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of the heart of Coimbra. There is a pool, a view of the hills, and they were buidling a golf course during our stay. The restaurant was excellent. While it's a bit on the expensive side, it is well worth the money.
