Helpful staff, spacious rooms

We only ended up here because it was close to the turismo up by the university, but hey, it worked out well. If you are coming to Coimbra by car, I'd recommend that you stay up in this area by the university because it's one of the only places where you'll find a place to park your car. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jorge and I asked how much a double bed with two beds and a bathroom would be. He said 39 Euros and I said that we would like to see the room and that we would probably check his competitor's price (there's another place with rooms to rent next door). He told us right up front that the rooms next door were 35 Euros and showed us up to the room.

Unique Quality: The room was huge with high ceilings and a nice bathroom. We even had an extra bed (good for piling up backpacks and dirty clothes). We told Jorge, that it was worth an extra four Euros and didn't even bother checking next door. When we checked out, he was nice enough to match his competitor and only charged us 35!

Throughout our stay Jorge and another desk attendant named Hugu were very helpful and always took the time to hear about our travels and advise us what to see and do.
