Monte Alentejano: Personal friendly Hotel
Monte Alentejano is a small, personnal and friendly Hotel in the center of Montemor-o-Novo ( 100kms from Lisbon and 30 kms from Évora- a world heritage City-). Montemor is an ancient city, inhabited by Romans, Arabs, and conquered by the Cristhian Portuguese King D. Sancho I, in the 12th century. The town has a Castel, swimmig pools, museums, churches and very very beautiful surroundings, namely the mountain of Monfurado and an interesting Megalitic tour. The Hotel is very personalized and not expensive. The service is excelent as it is the Restaurant with regional and unique food. The building was projected by a famous portuguese architect ( Raul David) in 1956.
I would recommend the Hotel and the Restaurant to any people who like to know about culture and to enjoy peacefull and friendly hollidays.
Great views, public pools, quiteness, satisfactory prices and excelent services.
