Adega Oceano

We arrived in Nazare without having booked any accomodation in advance.

As it was end of May, which is still off-season, there was plenty of accomodation still available. At the bus station we were even contacted by ladies offering private rooms.

We went to the beach front and the first place which got our attention was Residencial Adega Oceano. Here we asked for a double room for two nights with the option for a third night.

The owner offered us 2 nights for 80 Euro and 3 nights for 100 Euro, all including a buffet style breakfast. So we agreed on 3 nights.

The Residencial Adega Oceano has about 30 rooms with private bath, satellite TV and a lift to all floors. A restaurant is in the building as well.

We got a small double room in the corner of of the top level of the building. The room had a window facing the sea and a small balcony to the side alley. It was just perfect for the price; so was the buffet style breakfast.

A: "Hi, Ameijoas à Bulhão Pato are from Costa da Caparica (Almada) in the region of Lisbon, not from Nazaré! You can use any type of clams but of course we use the ones form..."
