Is it possible to go to Obidos from Lisbon and viceversa on the same day; by bus. Where can I find the timetables?

Rodoviária do Tejo operate an express service from Lisbon Campo Grande (Metro) that takes about 1 hr. 10 minutes.

For decades Obidos was a very beautiful place. Now, Obidos keeps being a very beautiful place where many things happen.
Initiative and good taste invite thousands to several events all year around. For instance, the chocolate festival: the castle is there, chocolate is delicious, and when February allows a mild day or evening it's hard to get your space in parks and lines to... excuse-me, that candy in that second shelf...

starting from the entrance obidos is full doors of all sizes and shapes. a feature to take in consideration with hundreds all others. if yu care and like me just pick yur camera and snapshot.

It's tough to imagine a town much more picturesque than Óbidos. It is very small and can easily be covered in an hour or so, but try to stay a little longer in order to soak up some of its quiet charm. The view of the town from just outside of its Medieval wall is beautiful. The wall creeps along the hilly terrain completely surrounding the well-kept town. In this picture we are still outside the wall approaching the town from where we parked our car.

Obidos has become a top destination, and it is visited all days, all year around. If you may choose your visiting time, do it in spring - You will escaped the summer crowds that fill each street, shop or bar, and will see the place with the colours of the bloomy flowers planted everywhere.
