Bus or/and train connection to Hotel

Virtual Tourist.
Please inform. How is bus or -trainconnection from Lisboa Airport to hotel:
Residencial Jardim da Amadora. Largo Major Humberto da Cruz 3. Amadora, Lisbon 2700-545 Portugal.
We arrive July 23 and leave July 27.

That hotel address is 230 metres** from the Amadora railway station, which is on the Sintra line of the Lisbon suburban rail network.

** there is a little park by the station and it does look from the satellite image on Google Maps that there is a short cut through the park reducing the distance to about 150m.

If I were making the journey, I would take a bus from the airport to Lisbon Entrecampos station and take the train from there. On weekdays there is a direct train between Entrecampos and Amadora every 20 minutes; the journey takes 14 minutes. These are trains in the direction of Mira-Sintra Melecas.

The airport bus 91 runs non stop from the airport to Entrecampos every 20 minutes. This bus has extra luggage space. If you do not have big, heavy bags you could also take either bus 44 or 745 to Entrecampos.

The whole journey from the airport to Amadora should take no longer than about 45 minutes.

As you will see, trains also run frequently from Amadora to the city centre station of Lisbon Rossio, which will be highly convenient when visiting the central area of Lisbon.

Amadora is a dormitory city of Lisbon, one of the smallest portuguese municipalities (24 sq. km), and one of the most populated (187 000 inh. in 8 communes). It is placed to the northwest of Lisbon, in it’s district and in the old province of Estremadura. This municipality is the most recent portuguese municipality. The city was considered by many as "garden city", since three big gardens were built to local population in the last century. Apart from that Amadora is nice place to be. Nice apartments and some history.
