Visit Casino Estoril by Mikebb
We visited the Casino twice during our 7 day holiday in Cascais. Our first visit was for lunch, however we missed out as the Casino does not open to 3pm. Our second visit was somewhat more successful as we arrived at 7pm with the intention of having dinner and looking around the Casino.Again unsuccessful in obtaining anything to eat as the restaurants and snack bars open much later in the evening. There were several bars open and the slot machines and tables were in full swing. We learnt that the restaurants and entertainment open much later in the evening with Showtime around 9pm.
The casino is very modern, furnished well and looks what one would imagine for a international casino.The disappointments for us were the inability to obtain a meal between 7 and 8 pm and the smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building. Smoking is normal for most places in Europe and I accept this, however we live in a country where smoking is banned in most public places.
For those who enjoy gambling this looks a great place to do it and the late night shows advertise world class entertainers.
