Great Place & Good Value!
Very nice hotel, especially in comparison to where I stayed in Porto. Internet is not included, but you can use a PC downstairs for a nominal fee. The reception speaks good English and is very helpful. Breakfast is decent and includes ham, cheese and omelette. Pastries are really good!
Bathroom is very well finished: granite everywhere and there is even a bidet! Water pressure is really good, towels are nice and clean. Sound insulation is very good as well. I requested a queen bed, but got instead two twins that were comfortable.
Location is good, half a block from subway and many bus connections on Pombal square, but the street is quiet. There is no restaurant on premises, but many nearby. Try O Maestro, which is very good in terms of food and good value.
Be careful with your belongings if you rent a car. On my last night, someone got the door opened and searched inside, but I didn't have anything, just a few coins.
Unique Quality: Comfortable, good service, good location and value.
Beware of thieves though - not just here but in Lisbon in general.
