I stayed at the Fenix Urbano while i was working as a tour leader for a group of danish tourists and was all in all quite happy there.
The hotel has a superb location just around the corner from the Marques de Pombal statue and the hotel is in general very pleasant with a nice bar and a nice restaurant and free wifi in all rooms.
My room was very small for a 4 star hotel though, but i could accept it cause it was very functional, but some of my clients thought the rooms were too small and twin rooms only had one chair for instance.
But the rooms were very nice if small and for me this served very well as a hotel room to work from.
My only major complaint is how breakfast was run.
The breakfast room was too small to host all the guests and we had lines every morning by the door and there were only 2 people working in the breakfast room to clear tables.
But only one cleared tables as the other one was trying to stop the crowds from ebtering the breakfast room before there was an empty table for them, but that left too much work for his college who ended up having lot's of empty tables that he had not cleaned up while his friend was acting as a bouncer for the crowds trying to acces the tables in order to have breakfast before their planes and busses were leaving.
I will not blame the staff for this as this is the work of a totally useless manager and i will be happy to return to the hotel as i am sure this circus will be solved soon and apart from the crazy breakfast show the rest of the hotel was really nice.
The reception staff was very good at advising my clients and giving me a helping hand with a few things and they also had a computer that people could use for free at the reception.
I hope i did not scare people away from the hotel with this story as it's a good hotel in one of the best locations of any hotel in Lisbon.
They just need to fix a couple of smaller things and i have faith that it will happen as it's not hard problems to fix.

We are planning to go to Lisbon and spend three days at the end of May. I am looking for cental location hotel and narrowed my search down to three:
1. Britania
2. Dom Concalo Hotel and Spa
3. Corinthia Lisboa Hotel
Which hotel, in your opinion, is the best, or suggest something else in ~$150-200 price range.
Also, what is the average air and ocean temperature during this time of the year, since we are planning to spend few days at Algavre?
Thank you in advance
Do you mean the ALGARVE?
If you do, expect daytime temperatures of around 80F and sea temps around 60 or 65F.
I stayed at the NH Parque Lisboa (www.nh-hotels.com) last summer and really enjoyed my stay. It had a great breakfast, large rooms, and a central location. Good luck!
If you want a full apartment instead an hotel, www.travelingtolisbon.com is a great option!! There are lots of apartments in the historical centre of Lisbon!
