Practical Lisbon Hotel
First recommended to us by an information hostess at Lisbon's airport, we have returned several times to this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak fluent English. The rooms are modest but comfortable, as are the color schemes,. All the amenities that a traveler needs are there: toiletries, trousers press, television and telephone. Rooms overlooking the street have small balconies, too.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is served on the ground floor. It is basically a cold breakfast with yogurt, cold meats, and breads among the offerings. But it gets one's day off to a good start.
The modest bar is just off the breakfast room. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but it is located near plenty of good ones. Transportation on the Metro or by bus or by taxi is nearby.
