nothing special !
we stayed here for three nights ,,,,,, NO heating in the room ... and hotel stuff 's service was not good ......... no tea making facilities in the room ,,,,,,,,,,,,,BREAKFAST was OK , but not exceptional ......... only good thing is even though its out of city centre but has good transport links like metro and buses ........... on the whole ,. we would prefer to STAY ANOTHER HOTEL next time .

Lisbon Hotel Suggestions
Hi everyone,
My friend and I will be in Lisbon for 3 days at the end of October and I'm trying to find a nice hotel. We'd like it to be central so that we can walk where possible. An old part of town rather than a new business area would be nice but we don't want to be kept awake all night by the nightlife either. Our budget is up to about €150 per night for a twin room.
At the moment I've booked the Holiday Inn but it seems to be a bit out of the centre although it's near a metro stop.
Any alternatives that would fit our wish list better?? :)

last november I've been at Hotel Berna (good three star) for 40 euro/night, close to metro stop, many bus stops and a railway station.

My wife and I are going to Portugal in early Oct. And this is the place that we are staying at.
Hotel: Olissippo Castelo
it is right near the castle. A little out of price range but atleast check it out.

Last year I visited Lisbon and stayed at Hotel Mundial. Close to a metro stop, close to tram 28 stop that can take you around the old part of town and its narrow streets, great breakfast, and also near Rossio, Baixo Chiado, Baixa Pombalina, Augusta Street, etc... I´m going to Lisbon this August and, again, I´m going to stay at Mundial.
