Great weekend. Best hotel in Lisbon for gardens and outside pool 5* and so not cheap.
Excellent service - even brought free champagne and birthday cake to my room as a surprise on my birthday.
Unique Quality: Pool, gardens, service
The Lapa Palace was a large and luxurious villa that has been transformed into a hotel. Situated on the top of a hill, it has a beautiful view of the river.
The hotel is quiet, romantic and extremely comfortable.
Unique Quality: The wonderful garden, with its swimming pool and pool-bar, is the feature that appealed most to me.
I stayed at the Lapa Palace *****. This hotel is said to be the finest in Portugal. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a master suite on arrival. :)
Starting at PTE65,000 for a single.
400 euros
Unique Quality: This elegant building, with its stunning gardens, opened in 1992 as a hotel after it had been expanded to incorporate additional poolside accommodation. Decorated in a traditional Portuguese style, it features marble stucco, carved wood and richly patterned azulejos tiles.Lapa Palace is on a hill overlooking the Tagus River, and is set amid tranquil gardens dotted with ornamental fountains and streams. It is surrounded by stately embassy buildings close to the centre of Lisbon, with its 19th-century squares and belvederes, and the hotel is just a short distance from five golf courses and a white sandy beach.

It really depends on your budget.
Take a look at some in this site to start

I personally suggest to my friends coming to visit me to stay at Hotel Borges, nicely situated "downtown"

Other budget places out of center but easy to take metro/train I also recommend to my friends

other basic hostels downtown (residenciais) which I know some people enjoyed to be there (e.g. some VTeers like Klaudia)

not so “budget” you have the boutique/charm hotels -small buildings and historic houses

Close to Marquês de Pombal rotunda you have the most expensive ones - Le Meridien Park , Golden Tulip Altis , Dom Pedro, Tivoli Hotel. The best (luxury) in town is Lapa Palace. But of course for those we are talking about high prices.
So you have lots of choices
June is a nice month to come to Lisbon because of the usual nice weather and the Lisbon festivities

specially if it is around 12-13 June -St António- not the patron saint of Lisbon but the most celebrated.
Enjoy Lisbon and ask something else if you need
