Good shadows but far from the city center or any touristic spot. You reach it exiting Lisbon by segunda circular in the route to Sintra. After estádio da luz play attention to the signings and leave in the exit A5 Cascais, CRIL go to that road and you'll find some indications (it's near Decathlon). Pool, tennis court, restaurant, bar, mini-golf, near big supermarkets

by clairetweed

Hi, me and a friend and travelling over to lisbon for euro 2004 (england fans) and we want to camp however this is not proving easy to find. Could anyone send me details of any campsites. We will not have transport so will need good public transport or be very close to city. Thanks alot. Any englans fans having similar problems contact me if you find anything. Hostels would be good aswell.

Hi there, have you found somewhere to stay yet in Lisbon during Euro 2004 ? We are 2 England fans who are going there the 12 to 26th of June period. We intend to camp, there is a large campsite in Lisbon city. Their website however claims you cannot book in advance - and no e-mail address.... However I will try and call the tourist office and/or the campsite in the beginning of June to find out what they can do. I have looked up quite a bit of information on Lisbon and surroundings, should you be looking for some info, please let me know. The public transport seems ok and cheap. Cheers, Frank

Hi,

I'm an England fan travelling to Euro 2004 and we're staying at the main Lisbon camp ground (Lisboa Camping) which we booked through the official Euro 2004 accomodation agency.

http://www.aa.euro2004.com/home_en.asp

We're staying in the log cabins (they call them "bungalows" I think) at the camp ground for a total cost of about £30 per person for a week. They have 4, 5 or 6 person cabins, but they're chape enough that 2 of you could stay in one and it would still be cheaper than many hostels.

We booked quite a while ago but they may have some left still. If not, it may be worth e-mailing them anyway and seeing what they can do. There's a very helpful lady there called Helena.

All the best

Ian.
