EXPO - llent place to stay

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on October 10, 2006

This place has a great location outside the city, and yet its so close.
It is located just a few minutes walking distance from a major station, which makes it easy to get to all places.

The staff were super friendly,
One night I was not able to stay at the hostel, so it was arranged that I could leave my things as I was returning the next day. My alternative accomadation was arranged in Sintra,
and I was told to take a taxi from the station to get to the hostel
as I would never find it with a map ( hidden was an undestatment... )

The hostel has a bar and an exellent atmosphere, there was even a concert on the premisis just after i left.

Unique Quality: I was impressed at the location as I was looking for an escape from the center of the city and wanted to be somewhere a little quite.

Very close is the river, which is a good place to walk,
further along the river you have the EXPO gardens where there are a lot of cafes.
in the evening the place come to life
and in the daytimes
its easy to find shade from the sun and just enjoy being outside.

Directions: Very near the expo sight,
Just a bus ride from the airport.
