Yes, its the usual two-prong outlet found in Europe. I know my British hairdryer didn't work without an adapter.

Yes, we just used those" two round prongs" adaptor in the two hotels we had inb Lisbon three.weeks ago...I usually just take with me that one adaptor which has multiple kinds of prongs - about 25 to 30 Dollars....but of course you can just brinbg the simple adaptor with two round prongs...have fun in Lisboa!

Travel Tips for Lisbon
Try the coffee Portuguese...
by anglosaxon
Try the coffee Portuguese style. Just add sugar (don't try it without) and maybe a small piece of bitter chocolate. I loved it in the morning but, not after 4pm otherwise I couldn't sleep properly. When a street football game was suspended for long enough to let us walk through with our son (7 months) in safety and then the owner of the restaurant who carried him around for 20 minutes while we ate our food.
Lisboa's cathedral, the Sé,...

Lisboa's cathedral, the Sé, was built by the first king of Portugal, Dom Afonso Henriques. The 12th century baptismal font where Saint Anthony was christened and the Gothic chapel are also interesting to see.
Narrow streets in Alfama....
by irisbe
I really loved to stroll along the narrow streets in Alfama.
People are housed very small and they often live in front of their houses during daytime.
I saw some one baking fish in front of her house.
This makes this area very social.
It is here that you will find some nice little Fado restaurants, but try to find the right ones :)
Fishing on the banks of the Tagus River
by dlytle
One of the many charming aspects to Lisbon is the casual fishermen who man the promenades all along the Tagus River on a nice day. The water is fairly clear and clean even close to downtown Lisbon. I happened upon this group of folks, having a great time whiling away their time fishing, on the promenade between Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries (which you can see in the background). I could see schools of little fish that came right up to the surface close to the abutments. I think the fishermen were after bigger game but it was still nice to see how well the fish stocks are flourishing even close to a very large city.
Football crazy

Like all of Europe, Portugal is wild for their soccer teams. Lisbon has two teams, SL Benfica and Sporting (Sporting Club de Portugal) and the two teams have been rivals since 1907.
Pav and I, both having played soccer most of our lives, inquired about going to a game, but unfortunately, there was none scheduled when we were there. Benfica was set to play their main rival, Porto, only a few days after we left. :-((
Between September and June, you can attend a game for a relatively inexpensive price (under 10 Euros for most tickets). Benfica plays at Estado da Luz (metro: Colegio Militar-Luz)
